Jackie Belfield
After living all of her life in Illinois, Jackie moved to Alaska in late 1994. In January of 1995, she began working for Sherry and has been at Tax Help ever since. Jackie has 2 children, Lori and Mark, and 2 grand-daughters. When not at work, Jackie enjoys quilting, crochet, and gardening.

Carol began a career in law enforcement after attending

Idaho. She worked as a police dispatcher and EMT for several departments in
Utahand
Oregonincluding the National Park Service.
While working for the National Park Service, a camper asking for directions charmed her into marriage. Doug and Carol moved to
Alaskawith their two children in 1990 and began a day care business.
Shortly thereafter, Carol met Sherry Whah at a day care conference learning so much about the business that she became an advocate to others who were lost in the drone of paperwork. Nine years later, in December of 2000, she was asked to join Tax Help Inc. to assist the growing firm with that same drone of avalanching paperwork she knew so well.
Since that time she has become a multi-tasking expert assisting the front office management, juggling phone calls and appointments. Amongst her various talents she highlights as the “Forms Specialist” creating and maintaining the firm’s organization.
In 2003 Carol was instrumental in forming a charitable nonprofit organization (501c3) called “Assistance Resources of Alaska” (ARA). ARA assists low-income individuals or those with special needs in
Alaska. ARA has sponsored a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site at the Millennium Hotel for the past eight years and the organization continues to assists those who cannot afford professional assistance with their IRS issues. She relies upon volunteers from the Alaska Association of Tax Consultants and others for assistance. She currently serves as President and CEO.
When she is not working and volunteering, Carol is found chasing after her grandchildren (here and soon to be) and various other hobbies that include sudoku, writing and sewing. You can email her at carol@taxhelpinc.com
Daisy Mendoza
Daisy was born in Chihuahua, Mexico but grew up all over Mexico and the southern United States. She arrived in Alaska in 1991 and began working with Tax Help in 2007. She is a mom of 6 wonderful children and enjoys latin dancing whenever she gets the time. You will find her maning Tax Helps front desk and answering phone calls.
Ashley Wicke
Ashley grew up in Burlington, Wyoming. When she graduated high school she moved to Rexburg, Idaho to attend college at Brigham Young University-Idaho. While taking classes she met her husband and was married in August of 2007. Soon after, she stopped going to school so that she could work while her husband finished up his degree. For Christmas 2008 they came up to Anchorage to visit family and decided that Alaska was the best place to look for a job. Ashley is currently working as Randy Hamilton's personal secretary.
