Randy Hamilton

Randy Hamilton obtained his business education at Snow College and his accounting education at the Marriott School of Management of Brigham Young University. He earned an associate degree in business, a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's accountancy degree in taxation. Randy moved his family to Anchorage in 1995 and took a job with one of the "big" four accounting firms, Deloitte & Touche, LLP where he worked in their accounting and tax practice for two years. He then joined a local firm owned by the former president of the Alaska Society of CPAs, Charles Bingham. After working with a local firm for two years, Randy formed his own tax practice and in January 2001 merged his firm with Tax Help, Inc. Randy and Sherry work to serve their clients with the thorough professionalism their education and experience demand.

Randy has served as an accounting or tax instructor at the University of Alaska, Anchorage, at Charter College and for the Internal Revenue Service while in Alaska. He enjoys watching the faces of his students when they grasp a new concept.

Randy sat for the CPA exam and passed it on the first round. He is currently licensed as a CPA in the state of Alaska. He also currently serves as the president of the Alaska Association of Tax Consultants which is an organization that promotes the education and responsible practice of accounting and taxation both within Alaska and around the nation.
